Mercedes-Benz Silver Star & Pointer Animated Cursor

Chrome done properly: a faceted silver star in a deep blue laurel ring, polished until the metal looks freshly detailed. The mouse pointer might be the better half, a black leather driving glove with a tiny star at the wrist, like your cursor came dressed for the Autobahn 🏁. The loop keeps a slow gleam sliding over the chrome, subtle enough to sit on your screen all day.

Fun fact: the three points of the star stand for motorizing land, sea, and air, and the laurel wreath came from Benz's logo when the two companies merged in 1926.
