A terrible curse was put on Princess Fiona by an evil fairy. During the day she was a beautiful girl, but at night she turned into a horrible ogre. Fiona’s parents did everything in their power to protect her from herself and from the mockery of people. And when the girl was fourteen she was sent to an old castle guarded by a fire-breathing dragon until the moment when her betrothed would come and free the princess from the evil spell with a kiss of true love. But instead of the brave prince, a green ogre and a restless donkey came to Fiona’s rescue. The girl fell in love with Shrek, and later his kiss left the princess in the guise of an ogre forever.
