Pixel Arrow & Hand Battle Transition Animated Cursor
Every click comes with a random encounter. The arrow holds for a beat, then breaks into glitching pixel blocks, scatters, and snaps back together like a JRPG battle transition squeezed into one cursor.
The pointer plays the same 1-bit game, a chunky pixel hand off the same sprite sheet. Black, white, hard edges, zero anti-aliasing. Run the set and every tab feels like a game menu ⚔️
Fun fact: the arrow cursor is tilted because of pixels, not taste. Alan Kay designed it at Xerox PARC for a 16×16 one-bit grid, where one vertical edge plus one 45 degree edge was the only way to get a clean arrowhead, and it stuck.
