The cursor is the book she always carries, and in the loop the pages flip like she is skimming for a line she already knows is not there. The pointer is Angela herself, light blue bob, yellow eyes, the exact face of someone who finds your clicking adequate at best.

In the Library, losing a reception has a specific consequence, so treat every click like one.

Fun fact: guests defeated in the Library are not dead, they are turned into Books, held in stasis by Angela's will until she says otherwise. Your tabs are safe. Probably.
